The JasCo Metro Police Department’s Patrol Division is committed to the  Police Department’s philosophy of community oriented policing.  This philosophy allows officers to become more familiar with issues and problems within their community, and can address them on a more individualized basis. Patrol Officers are committed to building and maintaining problem solving partnerships within the community. In addition, patrol officers are committed to providing police services that are fair, impartial, and professional.

They are the first response to any citizen’s call for assistance. In keeping with our community policing philosophy, officers regularly provide a wide variety of service to the community. We continue to expand on the traditional role of policing to meet the ever-growing needs of the people we serve.
